In a bridge contact arrangement, the two mating contact springs (10, 11) are embedded in a plane in an insulating material support (12) which is mounted in a groove in the base body (1) by means of a force fit. The plane of the mating contact springs (10, 11) is at right angles to the base plane of the base body (1) so that connecting tabs of both mating contact springs (10, 11) can be led out parallel to one another optionally downwards through the bottom of the base body (1) or in an extension of the mating contact springs. This results in the capability to provide the relay with a bridge contact arrangement for two different installation positions without any structural change. <IMAGE>
