PURPOSE:To make an operating member for temporary stopping easier to operate by making the releasing of said member possible by not only second operation of an operating button for primary stopping but the operation of an operating button for stopping. CONSTITUTION:When an operating member 1 for temporary stopping is operated in order to stop traveling of a tape temporarily from a reproducing state, the bent part 1b which is erected by the member 1 abuts on the arm part 6c of a press-contacting roll arm 6 and turns the arm 6 pivotting at a shaft 6a against the energizing force of a spring 8, thereby detaching a press-contacting roll 5 from a capstan 4. To release the temporary stopping, the member 1 which is held is operated again, then the stopping is released. To operate removing of a cassette without releasing the temporary stopping operation after resetting of an operating member 2 for reproduction, an operating button 3a for stopping is operated. |
