PURPOSE:To prevent the stray running of a pickup arm by detecting the completion of cuing-up operation by a lifter means for a pickup and an adjusting means for the uppermost position of a pickup arm. CONSTITUTION:When a solenoid not shown in the figure is turned on by a lead- in operation, a lifter driving member 60 is turned in a direction A with a lever and a cam. A lifter member 44 is so positioned by adjusting a screw 55 that when said member is turned in a direction E, a shaft 49 and a lever 52 abut on each other. A supporting base 46 installed with a shaft 46a serving as a rotating shaft of the member 44 is formed of a conductive material, and a lead wire 100 is attached thereto. A lead wire 101 is attached to the lever 52 of a stylus height adjusting part 51 to constitute a switch. During ascending of the pickup arm, the switch is closed when the spring 50 of the shaft 49 and the lever 52 abut on each other whereby the completion of the ascending of the pickup arm is detected. Thus, the pickup arm is controlled easily and the stray running thereof is prevented. |
