PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a disc by providing a shutter to the side of disc surface turn around the hub in the central part of the disc between a housing which holds the disc and the disc. CONSTITUTION:A case half body 12b forming a housing is of roughly the same construction as the construction of the half body not shown in the figure, and both half bodies are joined to each other in parts 27 into one body. A shutter 14b consisting of a torus part 26a and a plate-like part 26b is fitted turnably into a cylindrical guide 32 provided in an opening part 15b. One end of a moving belt 22 is fixed to a spring 29, and when a projected part 23 is pushed, the belt slides inside a groove 25, and the projected part 33 at the other end of the belt 22 turns the shutter 14b to open the window 13 provided on the lower side of the shutter 14b. The projected part 23 engages with the projected part on the body side of the device, and when the case is inserted into the device or is removed from the same the shutter 14b is interlocked to open and close the window 13. The half body not shown in the figure is also of the device similar to the device mentioned above in respect of the shutter, guiding groove, spring, etc. to prevent the damage of the disc. |
