PURPOSE:To improve isolation without increasing an insertion loss and a price by allowing a detection current which flows through one diode to flow to at least another diode. CONSTITUTION:A diode limiter circuit consists of diodes 210 and 220 and a resistance 230, and one-side terminals of the diodes 210 and 220 are not short- circuited to a waveguide 200 in terms of direct current (short-circuited in terms of high frquency), but connected in series through the resistance 230. In a large power and ultra-high frequency state, the detection current of the diode 210 flows through the diode 220. In this case, it is considered that a bias current flows through the diode 220, and the diode operates as what is called an active limiter. Therefore, the isolation of the diode 220 and that of the whole limiter circuit are improved. |
