PURPOSE:To further increase enjoyment of accompaniment play tape, by reading out a signal from a recording medium which has recorded a voice signal in one track and a character signal corresponding to the voice signal in the other track, and displaying a character in accordance with pronunciation of a voice. CONSTITUTION:A recording tape 1 consists of 2 tracks, and in one track, a voice signal is recorded, and it is read out by a voicing head 2, is amplified 4 and is voiced by a loudspeaker 5. At the same time, from the other track, a signal is read out by a character head 3 under the control of a CPU11, and it is waveform-shaped to a binary digital signal by an interface circuit 6. It is shifted and stored at every 1 bit in a buffer circuit, is transferred to an RAM8, is converted to a bit pattern from a code by a character generator 9, and after that, is sent to character display 10, and displays a character. In this way, a character corresponding to a voice can be displayed simultaneously, and an interest of accompaniment play is further increased. |
