PURPOSE:To make the supply pressure of fuel uniform to aim at atomizing injected fuel and so forth, by connecting the discharge port of a fuel feed pump to a fuel distribution mechanism through a fuel pressurizing mechanism disposed in a fuel passage, and by forming a fuel passage in an accumulator. CONSTITUTION:Fuel discharged from a pump 2 is subjected to pressure regulation by a pressure regulating valve, and is fed into a pressurizing chamber 73 from a passage 12 through a passage 13 and a check valve 14 after the pressure of the fuel is made to be uniform in an accumulator 4. Further, the fuel is then fed into a delivery valve 9. At this time, when a solenoid 62 in a solenoid valve 6 is energized, a valve member 6 ascends to open the upper end of a communication hole 64 which an annular groove 59 isolates a passage 15 from a passage 16. As a result, an working chamber 72 is pressurized to lower the piston 70 so that a plunger 71 pressurizes fuel in the pressurizing chamber 73. Further, thus pressurized fuel is delivered into a fuel injection valve from the delivery valve through a coupling 93 and the like. |
