PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in magnetic characteristics by a change in temp. by providing a thermosensitive element applied with thermal coupling under the same temp. conditions as the conditions for a recording head, and controlling the recording current flowing in the recording head to an optimum value in compliance with the temp. of the recording head. CONSTITUTION:The signal inputted to an input terminal 5 is applied through a capacitor C1 to the base of a transistor 6 for amplification, and is applied together with bias current to a magnetic head 11. The head 11 is so designed as to be subjected to the same temp. conditions as the conditions for a thermistor 9 connected in series thereto. The change in the temp. of the head 11 is detected by the above-described thermistor, by which the resistance value of the thermistor itself is changed and the current flowing in the magnetic head is controlled. |
