The sealing device (10) is designed as a built-in seal between two elements (2, 3) which can move relative to one another; it serves to seal off a cavity (9) situated towards the outside between the above mentioned elements (2, 3) and has a first, relatively soft and deformable segment (15) - which is provided with a sealing lip (18) provided to interact with one (3) of the elements which can move relative to one another - and a second, relatively hard and stiff segment (14) for connection to the other element (2). The two above mentioned seal segments (14, 15) are of integral design, without an interruption in their continuity and are each manufactured from two different blends of a combination of elastomeric substances and mineral fillers, the said blends being covulcanised. <IMAGE> |
