<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a work for a pressure test and to eliminate a temporarily disposed spot for performing the pressure test, by installing a device, which can be adjustably opened and closed, to the end of a piping. CONSTITUTION:A body consists of a circular body 1, a disk plate 2 which can freely turn about a fixed pin 4, a T-handle 3 having a wide pitch parallel screw for a pipe and a spherical nip at its tip, and an O-ring 5. With the handle 3 moved vertically through the rotation thereof, or with the guide, attached to the plate 2 and turns about the pin 4, the plate 2 turns in linkage with the above movement or rotation to perform an opening and closing operation. A titled jig is attached by a flange-coupling or a smooth welding of a pressure test line to an end. At a time when a pressure test takes place, the plate 2 is brought to a closed state just by raising the T-handle 3 through the rotation thereof, the plate 2 and the O-ring 5 are sealed to each other, and this permits to perform a pressure test.</p> |
