PURPOSE:To detect a migrating condition of a leucocyte on a real time basis, by controlling a gate potential of an FET by means of a potential possessed by the leucocyte. CONSTITUTION:A P<+> type source and drain regions 12 and 14 are formed on an n type substrate 10, an inorganic or an organic insulating film 16 is adhered to a surface thereof, and a distance between the source and the drain is set shorter than a length of a leucocyte. A number of such FETs are one-dimensionally or two-dimentionally aligned to form a detecting plate 18. When a leucocyte 20 having a negative potential reaches above the insulating film 16, an inversion layer (channel) is formed on the substrate surface between the source and the drain, and the continuity degree of each FET is detected through an electrode wiring l to measure the migrating speed and distribution degree of the leucocyte. |
