PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of dirt collection through prevention of interference of a water surface flow, by a method wherein the plural bathtub water suction pipes of a dirt collecting device sucking dirt on a bathtub water surface by a jet produced by discharging bathtub water through a circulating pipe are situated in parallel. CONSTITUTION:For example, two parallelly-arranged bathtub water suction pipes 11a and 11b are connected to each other at the lower part of a dirt collecting device 10 to form one pipe, and bathtub water 3 and dirt 12 are circulated to a filter 13. In which case, an injection port 7 formed ahead of an injection nozzle 6 is directed downward, a water flow 14 is raised from the bottom of a bathtub 8 to the side opposite to the dirt collecting device 10, and is branched into two directions on both sides. In which case, bathtub water suction pipes 11a and 116 of the dirt collecting device 10 suck bathtub water independently in relation to water flows from two directions from both sides, and a trouble, in which the flows in two directions on both sides interfer with each other, is prevented. This constitution improves the efficiency of dirt collection, and enables execution of rapid collecting action.
