PURPOSE:To reudce the amount of nitrogen oxides and save energy and make it possible to stabilize combustion by providing a burner head which has a plurality of primary flame openings and a primary combustion chamber which covers this burner head and has a secondary flame opening at its upper section and forming a fuel vaporizing chamber in the primary combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:The area surrounding a burner head 11 which has a plurality of primary flame openings 12 is covered by a primary combustion chamber 13, and a fuel vaporizing chamber 18 is formed in the inside of the primary combustion chamber 13. Because the fuel vaporizing chamber 18 is heated to a high temperature by the effect of a primary combustion flame 23, the fuel vaporization is promoted to save energy and always stable combustion state can be obtained. Further, in the fuel vaporizing chamber 15 between the fuel and the primary combustion gas in the primary combustion chamber 13 heat exchange becomes easy, and because temperature rise in the environment of the primary combustion chamber 13 and in the combustion flame 23 and me portions which are left unburnt in the primary combustion is suppressed and temperature rise in the secondary combustion flame 24 is also suppressed and the amount of NOx formed in the primary and secondary combustions decreases a great deal.
