PURPOSE:To diagnose a bearing trouble relatively and synthetically, by an evaluation formula which is based on temperature of a bearing, vibration and amplitude of a shaft, and the minimum film thickness of the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A displacement distance of a bearing is detected by a noncontact system fine displacement gauge 6, and by passage of the detecting signal through a modulator 7, a minimum film thickness hmin is measured from a direct current of an output thereof, and an amplitude A of vibration of a shaft 1 is measured from an alternating current. Meanwhile, a surface temperature T of a bearing 4b is measured by a thermocouple thermometer 8. An output thereof is fed to a computing part 10, K is computed by an evaluating formula K=TXA/hmin, and in case a result exceeds a predetermined limit value Ke, an alarm is sounded or an equipment is tripped. |
