PURPOSE:To improve conductivity and liquid holdability of a positive electrode, by using expansive graphite, which is pulverized when mixed with a positive electrode active material and uniformly dispersed in the positive electrode to increase contacted area with the positive electrode active material, as a conductive agent of the positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:A mixed product of 100ptw.wt. manganese dioxide as an active material heat treated at 350-430 deg.C temperature, 10pts.wt. expansive graphite as a conductive agent and 2pts.wt. fluorin resin powder as a binding agent is well mixed in a mortar for 30min and formed to a positive electrode compound. Then this compound is molded under pressure to 20phi diameter and about 1.2mm. thick at molding pressure of 2ton/cm<2>, and the then further heat treated at 300 deg.C to a positive electrode 3, while a lithium roller plate in about 0.5mm. thickness is punched to 20phi diameter and used as a negative electrode 4. Perchloric acid lithium of 1mol concentration is dissolved in equivolume mixed solvent of propylene carbonate and 1, 2 dimethoxy ethane, impregnated to a separator consisting of polypropylene unwoven fabric and used. |
