PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and to narrow particle size distribution, by dissolving a thermoplastic resin in a solvent at a temperature above its dissolution temp., and then, cooling it to or below its deposition temp. to convert it into fine particles. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin is converted into fine particles by dissolving it in a solvent at a temperature above its dissolving temp., and then cooling it to or below its deposition temp. When resistivity of the used solvent does not reach 10<10>ohm.cm, this solvent is substituted by a highly insulating liquid. As said resin, any resin having temp. dependence in solubility in solvent can be used, for example, polyvinyl chloride or ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is usable. |
