Each cleaner consists of suction duct leading to a sedimentation chamber (a) in which scrap, dust, cigarette ends etc. are collected. Chamber (a) may contain baffle plates, and is followed by a cyclone separator (b) and then a suction fan (c). A filter is pref. located upstream of the fan to collect any dust not trapped by chamber (a) and cyclone (b). The above units (a,b,c) may be assembled in a single chamber, and/or be mounted on a vehicle with a seat for a driver and a motor driving the vehicle, e.g. along paths, railway station platforms, or any area requiring cleaning.
