<p>The process comprises reaction of 10-bromo-4(1-methyl -4-piperidyl)-4H-benzo (4,5) cyclohepta(1,2,6) thiophene-4-ol with e.g. sulphuric acid in concentrated aqueous solution at 20 to 130-140 degrees C, for 1-24 hours. To increase efficiency, the product is extracted by solvent after alkalisation. - The salts are obtd. by dissolving with e.g. fumaric acid in methanol, for crystallisation and filtration.</p> |
