The invention relates to a process for the continuous production of products from partly or completely crosslinked thermoplastic-elastic material, starting with a mixture of components containing a crosslinking agent, in which process the components are dispersed and homogenised by a combined effect of temperature, pressure and a mechanical element, as a result of which a crosslinking is brought about with the aid of the abovementioned agent. The process is distinguished in that the crosslinkable homogeneous compound is continuously guided through the interior of a heating zone, where it is subjected to the effect of temperature, and to a mechanical element that effects its translation and homogenisation over an appropriate duration, the compound flowing through being already in the crosslinked state and passing into the shaping region without interruption with the aid of the same mechanical element and under a temperature adjusted to produce a thermoplastic material, which is followed by a cooling and, if required, granulation or the production of a continuous element. |
