<p>The spooling mechanism for a winch rope comprises a guide moved by a drive along a track to and fro in front of the winch drum. A rope-angle detector (14) is provided for the section of rope (4) between the guide (3) and the drum (6), and regulates the drive so as to move the guide when this angle exceeds a preset value. The drive can comprise a screwed spindle driven by a separate motor, the latter being started, stopped and reversed by command signals from the detector, which can be mounted on the guide, travelling on a parallel track.</p> |
