The filling valve is partic. intended for an LPG tank (13). It comprises a housing (1) with inlet (41) and a seat (3) for a slidable (tubular 15) closure member (2) which is opened against a spring (10) by the filling pressure to provide connection with its outlet (9) (via 7,21,20,15,17,8,19, valve 23,22 being opened against spring (24) to open port (17) and outlet (9). - A temperature-sensitive element (27) causes the member to close (25) on a seat (26) adjacent to the outlet (9) when the tank is filled to a predetermined level. This element may be contained in an (annular) expansion chamber (28) (outlet near (34) connected (12) to the tank.FL(1/4) |
