The powder flows from the vehicle supply pipe through a tube to the silo input tube. In the centre of the tube is a coaxial measuring tube, with a conical 'mouth-piece'. The flow is directed by a conical ring so that a small but fixed proportion of the powder passes through the measuring tube and into a porous sack. - The sack sits in the tray of an electronic weighing machine. The weight of the powder in the sack is registered on a numerical display. A signal from the weighing machine is fed via a correction adjuster to a calculator that multiplies the weight by the appropriate figure and reads it out on a numerical display.(0/0)
