PURPOSE:To reduce the running cost and make it possible for a user to replace parts by storing a photosensitive drum in a process cartridge attachable to and detachable from a housing and attaching an electrifier, an electrostatic charge removing device, and a cleaning roll to the process cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A cartridge 4 where a photosensitive drum 5, an electrostatic charge removing device 16, an electrifier 18, and a cleaning roll 24 are joined into one body is set in a housing 1, and a toner cartridge 7 is set in a casing 6 of the housing 1 to supply a toner T into the casing 6. The photosensitive drum 5 is electrified to a certain potential by corona discharge of the electrifier 18, and an electrostatic latent image corresponding to image information is formed on the photosensitive drum 5 by an optical write member 13. The toner T is selectively attracted and stuck to the photosensitive drum 5 by a developing sleeve 10 adjacent to the optical write member 13 in accordance with the electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive drum 5 to form a visible image. When a recording paper P reaches the position between the photosensitive drum 5 and a transfer device 14, the visible image is transferred to the recording paper P by corona discharge of the transfer device 14. |
