<p>The barn contains one or more sties, each accommodating a number of animals. The floor of each sty comprises a solid section, and also a grating through which dung can fall into a cellar below. In each sty there is a grating (6,7) on each side of the solid section (5) of the floor, and top and lateral guards are provided for the living space for the animals, formed by the solid section and one of the gratings. The surface of the solid section can be cambered, so that the gratings are at a lower level than it. The solid section can be in one piece with one of the gratings.</p> |
