PURPOSE:To prevent the falling off of an iron core plate and facilitate the assembling operation, by forming a spacer from alumina porcelain columns dispersed between iron cores so as to carry a uniformly distributed load, and heat- resistant insulating films bonded to the upper and lower end surfaces of the columns, respectively. CONSTITUTION:Between polyester unwoven fabrics 1 and 2 having a diameter substantially equal to that of a disc-shaped iron core, not shown, a polyester film piece 2 having a diameter equal to that of the fabrics 1 and 3 is inserted and fused thereto to form a heat-resistant insulating film, which is pressure- bonded to each of the upper and lower end surfaces, coated with an epoxy resin bonding agent, of a plurality of alumina porcelain columns 4. These columns 4 are disposed between the upper and lower iron cores so as to carry a uniformly distributed load. Thus, it is possible to prevent the short-circuit accident of the shunt reactor due to the falling off of an iron core plate which may occur in the case of the conventional spacer. Moreover, the operation for inserting the the spacer is facilitated, since the alumina porcelain columns 4 and the heat- resistant insulating films 2 are formed into a unitary body. |
