PURPOSE:To facilitate work for constructing a foothold by mounting an eye plate on the rear surface of a deck plate as in a single body, suspending an auxiliary cord at this eye plate and by fabricating the foothold through utilization of this auxiliary cord after installation of the deck plate. CONSTITUTION:An eye plate 1 is welded fast to the rear surface of each single deck plate 10 as in a single body, and deck plates 10 are fayed by welding on the upper deck to form a deck lating. The central U-shaped ring 3 and side U- shaped ring 4 on each eye plate 1 are threaded with an auxiliary cord 5, which is hanging from the eye plate 1, and a wire rope for foothold, 6, is connected with one of the ends of this suspending auxiliary cord 5 through a hook 7. The wire rope 6 is hung at the cental U-shaped ring 3 of the eye plate 1 by pulling the other end of the auxiliary cord 5. Thus a foothold is obtained by putting a step plate 13 over to the wire rope 6, where works for fabrication is much easier than any conventional method. |
