PURPOSE:To provide the titled ribbon such that inks are prevented from mixing with each other and from penetrating, by a method wherein a ribbon consisting of a woven fabric material of a heat-fusible resin and a film consisting of a heat-fusible resin material are provided with fusion-bonded parts in the form of lines or the like at appropriate intervals in the width direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:The ribbon consisting of a woven fabric material of a heat-fusible synthetic resin such as nylon or a polyester and the film 6 consisting of a heat-fusible synthetic resin material of said component or the like are prepared. The ribbon is integrally bonded to the film 6 at a central fusion-bonded part 5-4, an upper selvage fusion-bonded part 5-3 and a lower selvage fusion-bonded part 5-5 by forming the parts in the form of lines or belts in the longitudinal direction of the ribbon, and is separatedly impregnated or coated with a plurality of inks of different colors to produce a multicolor ink ribbon 5 consisting of, for example, a black ink impregnated belt 5-1 and a red ink impregnated belt 5-2. Since the film 6 is fusion-bonded to the belts 5-1, 5-2 on the side of types 1, both the inks in the belts are prevented from adhering to the types 1. Accordingly, mixing of the inks through the types 1 is perfectly prevented. In addition, mixing of the inks through a capillary action will not occur. |
