PURPOSE:To braze the cores of heat exchangers assembled of constituting parts quickly without uneven baking in the stage of heating and brazing said cores by heating the assembled cores in the internal flame parts of the burning flames of gas burners. CONSTITUTION:In the stage of brazing and baking assembled cores which constitute radiators, etc. of automobiles and consist of parts such as tubes, fins, seat plates and the like, assembled cores 4 stuck with many brazing filler metals are moved successively with a conveyor 14 in a passage 11 of an oven 10 having the passage 11 disposed with many burners 12. The cores 4 are passed in the positions of the burning flame parts of 400-600 deg.C only in the burning flames of the burners 12, and the cores are removed from the oven 10 upon deciding that when the flames emerge to the side of the cores 4 opposite from the burners, the baking by the brazing filler metals is completed. The temp. 400-600 deg.C of the flame 1 is the m. p. of the brazing filler metals at which the brazing filler metals melt easily. Since the base material of the cores has a much higher m. p., said material does not melt, and the cores are baked quickly by the brazing filler metals. |
