PURPOSE:To perform radiation resistant painting with high hardness, chemical resistance and discoloration resistance by applying zinc rich undercoating paint, phenolic resin second coating paint and polyurethane top coating paint on the surfaces of materials to be irradiated with radiant ray. CONSTITUTION:Zinc rich paint is under coated on the surfaces of apparatus or the like to be irradiated with radiant ray by 65-85mum thickness. Thereafter, phenolic resin paint is applied as the second coat by 90-110mum thickness and further polyurethane resin paint is top coated thereon by 30-40mum thickness. Effects such as improved mechanical strength such as impact resistance, an improved rate of decontamination after irradiations of radiations, decreased erosion and abrasion by washing with nitric acids and absence of discoloration are obtained by such painting. |
