PURPOSE:To surely prevent a liquid-like core material filled in a clad material from outflowing and to maintain a light transmission function over a long period, by bonding liquid-tightly sealing films or sealing plugs that cover both end aperture parts of the clad material to both end parts of the clad material. CONSTITUTION:A light transmission hose 1 is constituted by filling the inside of the cylindrical clad material 2 with liquid core material 3 having a refractive index higher than that of the clad material 2, a cylindrical window material 4 is inserted into one end part of the clad material 2 and a sealing film 5 is arranged between the clad material 2 and the window material 4. The sealing film 5 is obtained by extruding a ring-like collar body 5b integrally with the peripheral edge part of one end face of a cylindrical main body 5a whose the other end face is closed. The cylindrical main body 5a of the sealing film 5 is inserted into one end part of the clad material and at least the outer periphery of the main body 5a and the inner periphery of the clad material 2, the inside of the collar body 5b and the one end face of the clad material 2 or the inner periphery of a cylindrical joint part 5c and the outer periphery of the clad material 2 are stuck to each other with a bonding agent or the like or heat-fused. Consequently, one end aperture part of the clad material 2 is liquid-tightly closed. |
