PURPOSE:To manufacture a metal foil clad laminated sheet which is excellent in dimensional stability and water-vapor resistance and has no thin spot by a method wherein a laminate, the thickness of which is the specified value or less and which consists of resin-impregnated base material and metal foils is continuously heated and pressed into a shape under the specified molding pressure by being pinched between endless belts. CONSTITUTION:A metal foil clad laminated sheet is obtained by continuously heating and pressing a laminate, which is obtained by piling up a required number of sheets of resin-impregnated base material and on the top surface and/or undersurface of which metal foils are provided, and the thickness of which is 3.2mm or less, into a shape under the molding pressure of 2-30kg/cm<2> by being pinched between endless belts. If the thickness of the laminate exceeds 3.2mm, the uniformization of the interior of the laminate is impossible during the pressing under heat. Further, when the heating rate of the laminate is 100 deg.C/min or more, the melt viscosity of the resin in the resin-impregnated base material lowers rapidly and at the same time the resin cures rapidly, resulting in no residual stress due to the flow of resin in the laminated sheet. |
