The mechanism of the holding device is equipped with a spring mounted on a guide and with a claw which is designed to engage with the indentation of the magazine. Between the guide of the spring and this claw is formed a cylindrical guide, on which a groove and two projections are arranged. Mounted in said groove is a lever which is in the form of the letter T and two arms of which are directed towards said two projections formed on the cylindrical guide of the holding device, the actuating arm of the lever engaging into the recess of the button. The button has actuating members on both sides of the weapon, so that they can be actuated easily by persons using the right hand as well as those using the left hand for shooting. The construction of the device for holding the magazine can be mastered easily.
