PURPOSE:To perform low speed operation of a motor by inserting a parallel circuit of a resistor nd a diode between the motor and a power source and superposing the DC component with the AC current, thereby utilizing the controlling operation of the DC component. CONSTITUTION:A parallel circuit of a resistor R and a diode D is inserted in series between a load of a fan and a motor M. In this manner, the DC component is superposed on the AC current, thereby performing the slow or extremely slow speed operation by the utilization of the braking operation of the DC component. When the value of the resistor R is varied, the ratio of the AC component to the DC component of the current is varied, it is possible to regulate the speed in the certain range. |
