PURPOSE:To prevent a motor driven vehicle from running away by operating a brake unit when the voltage of a slide terminal of a variable resistor is lower than or higher than the set value. CONSTITUTION:When an operation lever is removed from a stopping position and is inclined, the output of a stop detector (D) becomes ''L'', and a brake controller (E) turns brake units FR, FL which brake right and left motors MR, ML OFF. Accordingly, the motors MR, ML are controlled at their speed in response to the inclining direction and degree of the lever. When the resistor part of the variable resistors of right or left motor instruction converter BR, BL is disconnected so that the voltage of the slide terminal becomes higher than or lower than the set value, the signal of a malfunction detector GR or GL becomes ''L'' so that the output signal of a holding circuit (H) becomes zero. Accordingly, the controller (E) turns the brake units FR, FL ON. In this manner, it can prevent a motor driven vehicle from running away, thereby holding the vehicle safe. |
