PURPOSE:To attain easy and quick replacement of the software, by storing a program to an electronic computer through a public telephone line with attached sound couplers. CONSTITUTION:In requiring the replacement of the software, after the user calls the manufacture on the public telephone line 7, an electronic computer 1 of a computer built-in numerical controller CNC is connected to an electronic computer 9 of the manufacture side via the sound couplers 6, 8. Then, the program transfer start is instructed from an operating panel 3. This instruction is given to the computer at the manufacture side through the second couplers 6, 8 and the line 7. The computer 9 receiving this instruction transmits the program information attached to the data for transmission error detection through the couplers 6, 8 and the line 7. After the end of transmission, the entire job is finished by disconnecting the line 7, the user obtains the desired software and completes the storage to a main memory of the computer 1 incorporating the CNC. |
