PURPOSE:To obtain a recording apparatus capable of performing high speed printing by reduced heat energy and reduced in control cost, by a method wherein a film like member is based on a low heat conductivity layer comprising a polyimide or fluorocarbon resin and a high heat conductivity layer comprising a metal having high heat conductivity such as aluminum is formed to the single surface or both surfaces of said film like member. CONSTITUTION:Printing is performed by a method wherein a thermal head 7 is driven by a drive circuit not shown in a drawing such as a transistor to generate heat and bubbles are generated in the ink held in the fine apertures 2 or fine recessed parts 5 of a film to inject the ink to paper 10 arranged in opposed relation to the film 1 by the pressure of said bubbles. The heat generated in the thermal head 7 is collectively conducted to a high heat conductivity layer 3 having high heat conductivity and transferred along the surface of the film 1 to be dissipated. In this heat dissipating process, the heat conducts along the inner surfaces of the fine apertures 2 or fine recessed parts 5 holding the ink at first and, therefore, bubbles are efficiently generated in the ink at this time and sufficient jet force can be obtained even by low energy. |
