<p>The floor for houses comprises beams, which carry attachments for supporting the ceiling of a lower floor. The space between the beams is filled by elongate arch-like elements made of cement or asbestos cement which act as shuttering during casting of the concrete floor surface. The arch elements have one flared end which allows adjacent elements to overlap in an adjustable manner to suit the length of the beams.</p> |
