<p>PURPOSE:To produce DC power with less loss by converting a voltage in a transformer, producing single phases which are slightly displaced and full-wave rectifying them. CONSTITUTION:When 3-phase powers are converted to DC power, the primary side receives via star-connection and a delta-connection, the powers are voltage- converted through the same magnetic circuit for each of the three phases, and one of the three phases is received at the secondary side by two coils. When one is wound clockwise, the other is wound counterclockwise, 6 phases at the star- connection side, 6 phases at the delta-connection side, and 12 phases of single phases are totally produced at every 30 deg., are full-wave rectified by semiconductor elements (rectifiers), and DC powers are produced.</p> |
