<p>The device enables the user to walk on water and consists of a pair of rigid frames (1) with floats (2) fixed at each end. A central platform (3) has a pouch (5) to receive the user's toes. The user's foot is retained by a strap (6) which is moulded to match the contour of the heel. One end of this strap is fixed permanently to the side of the socket (5) whilst the other end is fastened when the user's foot is in position. The permanent attachment is so designed that the user's foot can be removed by pulling directly upwards.</p> |
