PURPOSE:To reduce the wasteful flow of low temperature water through a hot water supplying pipe, and to shorten waiting time for hot water, when a faucet is opened. CONSTITUTION:A storage tank 6 with heat retaining capability is arranged in maximum possible proximity to a hot water faucet 5. The storage tank 6 has its hot water inlet pipe 7 connected to a branched pipe 4a branched off from a hot water supplying pipe 4 via a first valve 9, and its outlet pipe 8 connected to the hot water supplying pipe 4 downstream of the point where the pipe 4a is branched off. That is, the hot water supplying pipe 4 has a bypass course including the storage tank 6 provided in maximum possible proximity to the hot water faucet 5. At the branched part of the hot water supplying pipe 4, the hot water is branched off into two flows, one advancing through the pipe 4 as it is and another flowing through the branch pipe 4a into a lower part of the storage tank 6 via the first valve 9 for merging with the hot water ratained therein. |
