PURPOSE:To prevent transmission of sound through air vents for air ventilation purpose, by combining two volume type ventilators in a tandem configuration for air suction and exhausting functions. CONSTITUTION:Reference numerals 2, 2' and 3, 3' indicate rotors. Rotors for air suction and those for air exhausting are fitted to a common shaft in a tandem configuration. Reference numerals 8, 8' indicate air inlets and 9, 9' air outlets. When used in ventilating a sound proof chamber, the air inlet 8 serves as a fresh air take-out passage by communicating it to atmosphere and rendering the air outlet 9 to communicate with the sound proof chamber, whereas the air outlet 9' forms an exhaust air passage by having the inlet 8' and outlet 9' communicate to the sound proof chamber and atmosphere respectively. A ventilation air inlet duct 10 is formed in this instance as a duct of sucking the fresh air, whereas a ventilation air duct 11 functions in this instance as a duct of supplying the fresh air to the sound proof chamber. |
