PURPOSE:To prevent the winding disorder of a main winding by returning a return winding only over the outer circumference of each layer by a quick return method. CONSTITUTION:A main winding for a vertically deflecting coil is wound in toroidal form around a ferrite core (d) of a cylindrical truncated-cone-like ferrite core which is obtained by dividing it into equal halves in its axial direction. However, a return wire (f) is drawn over the outer wall of the ferrite core (d), and is not drawn over the inner wall of the ferrite core (d) for return. The return wire (f) is returned over the main winding of each layer in such a manner as above. By providing such a return wire (f), any disorder of the pitches of the main winding which forms a layer by being wound around the return wire (f) is not caused, and the distribution of the winding is stabilized. In addition, the main winding (e) is laminated over the inner wall of the ferrite core (d) in stacked-straw-bag-like form in such a manner that the lines of the second layer (a2) are located in the centers between the lines of the first layer (a1), and the lines of the third layer (a3) are located in the centers between the lines of the second layer (a2). |
