摘要 PURPOSE:To perform a continuous self-measurement of concentration, by a method wherein sludge water continuously fed is self-weighed continuously to compute the concentration of the sludge water from a predetermined capacity of a weighing hopper and a specific gravity of a sludge solid content. CONSTITUTION:Sludge water is supplied to a head tank 4 through a feed pipe 3 by an underwater pump 2 in a sludge water tank 1. The water level in the tank 4 is held in a constant manner through an overflow pipe 5. If a weighing valve 7 is left opened, sludge water passing through a weighting pipe 6 and the weighing valve 7 is discharged through a discharge pipe 9 in a state to normally fill up a weighing hopper 8, and returns to the sludge tank 1 throught a discharge hopper 10 and a return pipe 11. A weight of a constant volume of sludge water flowing through the weighting hopper 8 is detected by load cells 12 attached to a weighing hopper 8, and concentration is computed from a ratio between the predetermined capacity of the weighing hopper 8 and a sludge solid content by a control panel 13 to display it.
