发明名称 Angling quill with mechanical drive
摘要 For centuries, anglers have been using conventional, simple angling quills, the sole purpose of which is, depending on their type of design as a float, to carry bait of a greater or lesser weight. Anglers can cast these simple angling quills only as far away from the bank as they can apply strength and skill. Consequently, the distance between the place on the bank and the bait is set narrow natural limits. The invention adds to the conventional angling quill two torch batteries as an energy source, an electric motor, a propeller and a rudder to form an angling quill with mechanical drive which, by means of eyes and clips attached on the outside, can take the angling line and can propel any bait out onto the lake under its own force - instead of manual casting. A balance switch in the power supply circuit makes the motor and propeller switch on when the unit is in its horizontal position and makes the drive switch off completely when the unit is in its vertical position. A jerk on the angling line makes the inert bait weights slide out of the front clip (4). Once this load has been removed from the hollow front part, the relieved angling quill with mechanical drive can right itself and switch itself off by means of the balance switch (5). Consequently, during angling, it becomes a normal angling quill. With this novel angling quill with mechanical drive, in future the angler can reach catching areas many times further away than the distance to which he could previously cast manually, without changing his accustomed place on the bank. <IMAGE>
