PURPOSE:To develop the character of the aimed gene, by inserting a recombinant DNA containing the aimed gene or vector which is extrinsic to a microorganism belonging to the genus Corynebacterium or Brevibacterium as a host. CONSTITUTION:A recombinant DNA, containing DNA fragments containing at least one complete gene derived from a eucaryote, procaryote, virus, bacteriophage or plasmid and a vector DNA, which is compatible with a host microorganisms and self-multipliable and extrinsic to at least one of both host microorganism, is used to culture in a culture medium a transformed host microorganism strain obtd. by a transformation of a host strain belonging to the genus Corynebacterium or Brevibacterium and having the sensitivity to lysozyme, e.g. Corynebacterium glutamicum L-22 or a strain derived therefrom A metabolite substance concerned with the gene is collected from the cultured product. |
