摘要 The invention consists of a universally usable adjusting mechanism which allows sensitive, continuous, central adjustment of two components, can be integrated, and guarantees a high degree of safety against jerky loading, whilst maintaining freedom from backlash, and convenient handling. This is achieved by a gearing arrangement, in which a plurality of gearwheels engage in both component tabs having a different number of teeth. By rotating the gearwheels, the two halves of the component tabs are displaced relative to one another. It can be achieved, by matching the numbers of teeth and by varying the modules and the angle of engagement, that the operating angle of engagement is the same on both component tab halves. Consequently, when the fitting tab is loaded backwards, blocking no longer takes place via self-locking, but the forces are absorbed without torque on the engaged tooth. As a result, said tooth acts as a "feather key". By favourable positioning of the gearwheels relative to one another, a statically defined system can be achieved so that, finally, the system forces also eliminate one another. These regularities can be implemented on an internal and on an external toothing. <IMAGE>
