PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which can produce aluminun grains of uniform grain sizes stably by pressurizing an air chamber intermittently by the operation of an expanding and contracting diaphragm plate mounted in the opening at the top end of a molten metal well and dropping the molten metal in said well forcibly through dropping holes onto a cooling and transmitting belt. CONSTITUTION:The operator adjusts a control valve 14 which is provided in the outlet 13 of a tapping path 12 and is made openable and closable and adjustable of opening by means of a knob 15 to feed a proper amt. of molten metal from a melting furnace 11 into a molten metal well 8 so that always a specified amt. of the molten metal is stored thereon. A bellows 16 is provided as an expanding and contracting diaphragm plate in the opening part in the upper part of the well 8, and is expanded or contracted back and forth by driving of a motive power device 1 and a crank device 5 with a vertically moving rod 6 mounted at the center of the top end thereof. As the bellows 16 moves, the enclosing air is pressurized intermittently to apply pressurizing pulsation to the molten metal in the well 8, by which the molten metal is dropped successively onto a cooling and transmitting belt 19 below through plural dropping holes 10 in the lower part well 8, and is thereby cooled so that aluminum grains are formed. |
