PURPOSE:To make available an easy support of a tank during a water supplying operation, and to allow an easy cleaning of the tank inside, by detachably providing to a lid of large-diameter opening of te tank bottom a valve box adapted to open upon being mounted on the water tank and by providing the lid a handle which can double as a tank supporting means and as a tightening lever. CONSTITUTION:A large-diameter opening 13 is defined through a bottom of tank 1, and a lid which is threadably engageable with the opening in a fluid sealing relation via a packing 14 is integrally provided with a handle 8 adapted to double as a tightening lever and a tank supporting and shifting means. Centrally and detachably provided on the lid 9 in a fluid sealing relation is the cylindrical part of a valve box 5 for a water level adjusting valve 4. Since the handle 8 of lid 9 makes length of its arm greater than diameter of the opening, the lid 9 can be closed without the need of applying excessive forces. Safety in handling the tank is preserved by providing a pawl engaging section 12 adapted to support an edge of the handle 8 at a lower side face of the tank, because the handle 8 can support the weight of tank fully filled with water. |
