A device for closing constructional seals on constructional parts has a clamping rail, with which the constructional seal is clamped directly on the constructional part and which has an upper longitudinal bead for receiving a sealing profile with an upper closing edge directed towards the constructional part, a plane central portion lying against the constructional seal and having perforations for fastening means, and a lower closing border lying against the constructional seal. In this arrangement, at least one further upper, longitudinally extending stiffening bead (4) curved outwards to the side facing away from the construction, is formed between the upper longitudinal bead (6) and the central portion (2), and the lower closing border is designed as a closing longitudinal bead (12) with inwardly bent-round lower closing edge (13, 14) pointing in the transverse direction of the clamping rail (1). Additionally, at least one lower, longitudinally extending stiffening bead (10), curved outwards to the side facing away from the construction, is formed between the closing longitudinal bead (12) and the central portion (2). Finally, the clamping rail is formed, together with all beads and the central portion, entirely as a roller-deformed section of metallic strip material. Advantageously, longitudinal, stiffening and closing longitudinal beads including their transitions are formed so as to merge into one another in undulating fashion. <IMAGE>
