The invention relates to a cable drum for the throttle twist grip of a motorised vehicle. The path of the cable is proportional to the radius of the cable drum. Therefore for each individual carburettor cable drums with a different diameter are required. It is proposed to design the radius of the cable drum to be infinitely adjustable over a certain range. In order to achieve this, it is proposed to connect the outer part (11) of the cable drum (6) to the inner part (10) by a joint (13).
